I live about an hour away and after stopping by today I’ll definitely make the trip just to have it again. I had the Hoosier Tenderloin Sandwich along with the freshly made potato chips and my goodness that the best tenderloin sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner was walking around checking in with guests and it has a really small town community vibe. Can’t wait to stop in and try more. Thanks for the hospitality!

They catered my wedding and were fantastic! We got chicken tenders, fried potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, salad and Italian beef. They were great to work with and would use them in the future. I highly recommend them, we had 80 people and the food was a hit! Five stars all the way!!!!!

Found this place while googling for great places to eat in Martinsville. Ive traveled to Southern Indiana before and know they do fried foods really well. I opted for the thighs over the tenders and got half orders of fried green tomatoes and half order of fried pickles. Glad I only ordered the half order because it was a ton of food! It definitely met my lofty expectations. The tomatoes needed a touch of salt. The pickles were great. The thighs were crispy, tender, and juicy. Great service. Definitely try the H & R sauce! A lot of people were ordering the homemade chip, its not my thing, but I bet they are great too. If you like fried foods, I definitely recommend checking them out.

Last few times I’ve been here it’s been ok at best, but last night it was great! Chicken is incredible, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. One thing I have noticed over the past few years is you have to be pretty descriptive about how long you want your potatoes cooked so that’s something to pay attention to when ordering. The only minor thing I’m not a fan of is their new slogan, “ best clucking chicken around” while some people would think it’s funny or otherwise I don’t, I mean that’s making fun of the F word which I think is very rude and inappropriate to do. Other than that, definitely one of my favorite paces to get chicken.

We showed up a few minutes after they opened on a Wednesday and they already had chicken and potato chips ready to go. It was our fist time visiting, and the owner took time to share their menu and different sauce choices. There is a variety of savory, sweet, and spicy sauces, we even got to try a new sauce not on the menu yet. Very friendly staff, quick service, big portions, and delicious chicken! Can’t wait to go back!

I'll drive out of the way for a place like this. Every. Single. Time. It beats the hell outta fast food. It was as tastefully decorated as the food was tasty. Dont let the name mislead you. The chicken isn't spicy. Great flavor and super juicy chicken. The kids' meals were a little small, but that was on us. We went back and ordered more for the kids at their request. They liked it that much. The sides were ok. We tried the mashed taters, macaroni, and coleslaw. They were all standard. I do recommend their fried chips, which come as a heaping side. Eat them fast they cool off quickly. The place was clean, and the prices were good. They have fountain drinks. The owner was there, and she's great. The staff was outgoing. Really nice experience.

So nice we had it twice! We were on a road trip and stop in on a chance. We loved it. My daughter said the best chicken tenders ever! On the way home we stopped in again.
